Award for Excellence in Cooperation

The 1998 award for Excellence in Cooperation was presented to the Cape Chignecto Management Committee, whose work brought together Cumberland County residents and representatives of three levels of government to create a magnificent wilderness park.

Development Isle Madame Association (DIMA) was named as a finalist for its work in setting up the Richmond County Fisheries Management Co-operative.

The Coastal Communities Network was also named as a finalist in this category.
